Cards and Friendship

I love when I am able to stay home and dedicate time to making new cards. My good friend, Kim, (who lives on the east coast) and I spent much of our Saturday afternoon indulging in a short, bi-coastal card marathon. I produced two cards while she made three! Our first card is for Mo's Digital Challenge hosted by Mo's Digital Pencil Design Team: Mo's Digital Challenge. Since we both enjoyed our spur-of-the-moment, card-making session, we may meet up (virtually) on a regular basis. My quick and easy cards:

     

     

You're Fabulous!

Hi card enthusiasts! I hope your weekend is off to a great start and you have some fun activities lined up. My offering today is a recent card I made for a friend. Like friendship, the colors I used are inviting and cheerful. The "fabulous" sentiment is from Stampin' Up; I really like the fancy font. I am thrilled to be crafting again. It is among my favorite things to do.

As I shared in my previous post, I love Smooth Jazz music. Some of my favorite musicians include keyboardists: Brian Culbertson, Oli Silk, Jonathan Fritzen, and Brian Simpson; sax men: Darren Rahn, Gerald Albright, Euge Groove, Najee, and Eric Darius; guitarists: Paul Brown, Chris Standring, Norman Brown, Nils, Jeff Golub, and Peter White. I support these and many other artists by purchasing their CDs and attending their live performances. I picked up the latest CD by saxophonist, Gerald Albright, entitled "Slam Dunk." It, too, is FABULOUS!!!

Crafting to My Happy Place

Today, I decided to embark on a new journey to express myself through crafting and music. I am a huge fan of scrapbooking, card making, and Smooth Jazz music; I've been a fan of these things since the early 90s. I hope to use this space to showcase my custom cards, scrapbooks, other craft projects, and share profiles of my favorite Smooth Jazz artists. Occasionally, I will feature popular recipes, tech news, cool product reviews, discount craft merchandise, notable card-maker blogs, inspirational quotes, and feel good humor. I hope you'll join me for a creative trip that's sure to delight and entertain all who visit.
